A new sculpture has been created at the Hartlepool Transport Interchange to celebrate Ridley Scott’s “Boy and the Bicycle” film which was filmed in Hartlepool.
Progress
Artist, Bob Hollywood, has won a competitive process to finalise the design and manufacture the artwork.
The detailed design for the artwork has been completed.
The planning application has been approved.
Next Steps
Manufacture the artwork.
Procure the ground-works contractor.
Installation expected in March 2018.
