Four Tees Valley ERDF calls are expected to be launched on Friday 28th June 2019 under the following themes:
- Innovation
- Enhancing access to, and use and quality of ICT
- SME Competiveness
- Low Carbon

The closing date for all four calls is likely to be Monday 30th September 2019.
The following activity is expected to be included:
PROMOTING RESEARCH AND INNOVATION – PRIORITY AXIS 1
The call is likely to state that the focus is on revenue support, particularly the provision of intensive support leading to an increase in innovative capacity for new and established businesses innovating in smart specialisation areas.
ENHANCING ACCESS TO, AND USE AND QUALITY OF ICT – PRIORITY AXIS 2
Projects under this call should look to enhance the access to, and use and quality of, Information and Communications Technology.
SME COMPETITIVENESS – PRIORITY AXIS 3
Local priorities will be:
-Increasing productivity
-Start-up/Scale up
-Supply Chain Development
-Access to Finance and Investment Readiness
LOW CARBON – PRIORITY AXIS 4
This call is looking to support the shift towards a low carbon economy in all sectors.
A number of launch events will be arranged in early July throughout the Tees Valley.
