Modeshift is a sustainable travel organisation best known for the STARS programme – a sustainable travel accreditation programme for schools, much like Better Health at Work is a healthy workplace accreditation initiative.
n
Living Streets and Modeshift are currently working in partnership and as a result a workplace accreditation, Modeshift STARS for Workplaces will be launched in November at the Modeshift conference.
n
For workplaces engaging in Walk To this year and participating in this aspect of the work, there would be no cost to participation in this new offer and support would be provided by myself. Workplace Travel Plans can cost between £5000-£30000. Therefore the opportunity to create or update a Travel Plan whilst also gaining a Bronze, Silver or Gold STARS for workplaces accreditation could be extremely attractive to local employers.
