Let's Go Tees Valley Commuter Challenge

Let's Go Tees Valley Commuter Challenge

13-19 May 2019 is the week to leave the car at home and try greener, healthier ways to get to work.

Let's Go Tees Valley, together with Connect Tees Valley, is funded by the Department of Transport’s Access Fund; supported by Tees Valley Combined Authority.

Let's Go Tees Valley offer ideas, advice, support and motivation for people to find greener, healthier and cheaper ways to travel.  The programme is delivered by the local authorities for Hartlepool, Darlington, Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland, and Stockton-On-Tees.

13-19 May 2019 is their Commuter Challenge week. The aim of the challenge is for businesses to encourage their staff to take part by swapping single occupancy car journeys in favour of walking, cycling, using public transport or car-sharing for one week. There are prizes to be given away throughout the week, with the main prize draw to be won at the end of the challenge. The more car journeys swapped, the more chances there are to win!

You can find out more information and sign up to the challenge here!
