Careers and Enterprise Company- Enterprise Adviser Network

n

Tees Valley Combined Authority and Local Enterprise Partnership have recently appointed a second Careers and Enterprise Coordinator to oversee the ongoing work of the Careers and Enterprise Company in the Tees Valley region.

n

The Careers & Enterprise Company has been set up to inspire and prepare young people for the world of work. Working in partnership with LEPs, the company is rolling out a national network of Enterprise Advisers. I am writing to ask if your organisation would like to become part of this new network.

n

How it works

n

The network of Enterprise Advisers comprises of volunteers drawn from business and other employers, both large and small. They will work directly with the leadership of individual schools and colleges to develop effective careers and employer engagement programmes. Enterprise Advisers will be asked to commit a minimum of 8 hours per month to these activities. Clusters of schools, colleges and Enterprise Advisers are supported by a full time Careers and Enterprise Coordinator.
