DigitalCity is currently recruiting for their next Accelerator Programme which commences in September.
The programme has been designed for digital tech start-up businesses that have been trading less than 12 months. Innovation is key and they are particularly interested in working with businesses that might be creating a new product or service, commercialising an idea or validating a concept that they want to develop to seek further investment.
The programme offers:
- A ten week workshop programme that gives you everything you need to create a successful business
- Bespoke mentoring from expert business coaches
- A start-up grant of up to £5,000 (at the discretion of the panel)
The last cohort was made up of a group of diverse businesses working in the digital and non-digital sectors. What they all had in common was that they were providing digital solutions to a number of problems. The group included a social enterprise games studio, a vlogging platform and companies supporting English revision and men’s mental health needs through highly innovative digital platforms. Heavy industry also featured with drone, freight and web technology businesses providing digital solutions that were helping to innovate the more traditional industries on Teesside.
