Hartlepool is investing in its creative industries, providing a bright future for budding talent in this field. The Innovation and Skills Quarter (ISQ) aims to revitalise Church Street and develop a thriving creative industries quarter based around Cleveland College of Art and Design’s new campus.
As part of this regeneration, the Grade II Listed former Post Office building in Whitby Street is being refurbished and extended to turn it into a centre for business start-ups in the creative industries sector.
The centre is known as The BIS - Business Innovation & Skills - and work is now well underway. The new marketing brochure for The BIS has just been launched and you can find out more about this and other regeneration work in the town here.
