Strategy development: finance raising & Export marketing with James Robson

James studied mining engineering at Leeds University, and began a career with Ellis and Everard, a national distribution organisation, now part of Univar. In 1990-1992, James undertook a part-time MBA at Durham, and in 1992/1993, he left Univar and set up Exwold.

James has provided business support to SME’s from across the region in areas such as, strategic business planning, market analysis, finance raising, HR and team building, as well as many other areas.

What James Offers

James' primary focus' are threefold, while his background in engineering remains useful at a more strategic level: 

• Developing longer term strategy
• Raising risk finance (VC and others)
• Export marketing
