North East Cyber-Security Information Sharing Platform event

The Cyber-security Information Sharing Partnership (CiSP), part of CERT-UK, is a joint industry government initiative to share cyber threats and vulnerability information in order to increase overall situational awareness of the cyber threat and therefore reduce the impact on UK business.

CiSP allows members from across sectors and organisations to exchange cyber threat information in real time, on a secure and dynamic environment, whilst operating within a framework that protects the confidentiality of shared information.

Representatives from CERT UK have agreed to run a one day event for the North East Region, between 9am and 3pm on Thursday the 10th of December, which will be held at the Montgomery Suite in the Stadium of Light, Sunderland. This event is free to join and it’s an excellent opportunity to raise awareness and take advice from some of the governments leading experts in the field of cybercrime. If you are interested in joining this event please contact DS Wilson or the North East Fraud Forum at:

In the mean time remember the CiSP is completely free to join, and further information can be found at https://www.cert.gov.uk/cisp/
