How to sell to the MOD, Cyber Essentials & Export Defence Products Update - Yorkshire
The Ministry of Defence (MOD) are visiting the Yorkshire Region to engage with small and medium sized businesses. This event will describe the many procurement opportunities available and how to become part of the supply chain of the MOD.
The MOD spends approximately £14 billion a year procuring a wide variety of products and services to support the Armed Forces, both on operations and in peace time. In addition to complex military equipment requiring highly specialist suppliers and leading edge technology, the MOD also procures more ordinary ‘commodity’ items. The MOD has a requirement for most types of product, either directly or indirectly, at some stage. Since 1st January 2016, the MOD has required their suppliers to have a Cyber Essentials certificate. MASS will help you to understand what these requirements are.
