Finance opportunities for space technology and developing satellite applications
The conference will cover opportunities such as Horizon 2020, which funds businesses to develop innovative space technologies and operational concepts "from idea to demonstration in space", and to use satellite data for scientific, public and commercial purposes.
It will feature practical tips and “how to” guidance for applying for funding and will also have an innovation bootcamp to progress ideas for possible funding.
Horizon 2020 promises to drive breakthroughs, discoveries and innovation by taking great ideas from lab to market. By connecting research directly to innovation, Horizon 2020 aims to secure Europe's global competitiveness. It will achieve this through an emphasis on excellent science, industrial leadership and tackling societal challenges.
The overall goal is to ensure Europe produces world-class science, removes barriers to innovation and makes it easier for the public and private sectors to collaborate in delivering marketable innovation.
